No gaps between trades, no finger-pointing
Most bathroom jobs that drag on do so because three different trades have to turn up in the right order. We do the plumbing, the tiling and the electrics ourselves, so the job runs straight through.
The work is carried out by On Track Plumbing & Heating Ltd, a South London plumbing and heating firm. That matters in a bathroom: water pressure, hot water and heating are what make a shower feel good, and they’re what we do every day.
- The person who plans the pipework is the person who fits the tiles over it
- Electrics, lighting and extractor fans signed off under the Building Regulations
- Gas Safe registered (567789), so a boiler or gas pipe in the way is not a problem
- One point of contact and one price for the lot
How a bathroom renovation comes together
Six stages, in the same order every time. You’ll know which one we’re on and what’s next.
Tell us about the room
Answer a few questions and send a couple of phone photos. Most bathrooms can be priced from that, and we’ll call to talk it through.
Agree the design and the price
Layout, suite, tiles and finishes, written down before any work starts, so you know exactly what you’re getting.
Strip-out and first fix
Old suite and tiles out, floors checked, then new pipework, waste and cables run while the walls are open.
Boarding and waterproofing
Walls boarded, shower areas tanked, underfloor heating laid if you’re having it. This is the bit you never see, and the bit that matters most.
Tiling
Set out from the centre so cut tiles land where nobody looks. Grouted, sealed and trimmed properly at every edge.
Second fix and handover
Suite, taps, shower, lights and fan fitted and tested. We clear up, show you how everything works and leave you with the paperwork.
Pick a look. We’ll build it.
Bring us a photo from Instagram, Pinterest or a showroom and we’ll price it as drawn, or suggest where to spend and where to save.

We know what’s behind the tiles round here
Croydon has every kind of house, and every kind of bathroom problem. Knowing what to expect is how a quote stays a quote.
Victorian and Edwardian terraces
Thornton Heath, Selhurst, South Norwood and Addiscombe. Bathrooms are often in the back addition, long and narrow, with the soil stack on an outside wall. We plan the layout around it, not against it.
1930s semis
Shirley, Purley, Coulsdon and Sanderstead. Many still have a separate toilet next to the bathroom. Taking the wall out gives you room for a proper walk-in shower.
Flats and conversions
The town centre, South Croydon and Upper Norwood. We plan access, noise and the neighbours below, and tell you when your lease needs the freeholder’s consent.
Hard water
Croydon’s water is hard. We fit thermostatic valves and shower heads that are easy to descale, and recommend glass treatments that make the weekly clean easier.

Questions people ask
How long does a bathroom renovation take?
It depends on the room and how much is changing. A like-for-like refit is far quicker than one where we move the toilet, build a stud wall or lay a wet room floor. We’ll give you a start date and an honest number of working days in your quote, and keep you posted if anything we find behind the old tiles changes it.
Do you do the plumbing, tiling and electrics yourselves?
Yes. One team handles the whole job, which is why there’s no waiting around for the tiler or the electrician to turn up. Electrical work in bathrooms is notifiable under Part P of the Building Regulations, and it’s signed off and certified as the rules require.
Can I buy my own suite and tiles?
Of course. Tell us in the quote form and we’ll price for fitting only. We’ll check what you’ve chosen will work with your water pressure and the room before you order, which saves a lot of returns.
Can you give me a price without visiting?
Usually, yes. The quote form asks the questions that decide the price, and a few photos fill in the rest. For bigger layout changes we’ll pop round to measure before confirming.
Do I need permission to renovate my bathroom?
For a house, a like-for-like refit rarely needs anything beyond the Building Regulations sign-off for electrics and ventilation, which we handle. In a leasehold flat, check your lease: moving the toilet, adding a wet room or changing the floor often needs the freeholder’s consent. We’re happy to help you ask.
Which areas do you cover?
Croydon and the areas around it: CR0, CR2, CR4, CR5, CR7 and CR8, plus Norbury, South and Upper Norwood, Wallington and Beckenham. If you’re just outside, ask anyway.
Tell us about your bathroom
Two minutes of taps and a couple of phone photos, and we can usually give you a price without a visit.
